    2. This has to be one of my most favorite books by Cathy Marie Hake. The collection of stories all happen chronologically and in the same town, and are based on Micah 6:8: "He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?" So, the first book is "To Love Mercy" etc. Each story portrays a widely different set of circumstances, such as rape and rejection, disabilities and compassion, and justice and [...]

    3. Texas Brides by Cathy Marie Hake, is a delightful trilogy wrapped into one book. Following the lives of three brothers fresh from Scotland, you watch as they discover love in a new land. Though the stories were predictable, they were enjoyable none the less. I usually enjoy the drama of a good suspense novel, but once in a while I like to read a book that moves at an easy, carefree pace. Again, pulling on my love for the west, Texas Brides made for a delightful escape at the end of the day.Note: [...]

    4. I really enjoyed this book! The interaction between the brothers was great! I liked the way they relied on God, were able to see when they strayed and with prayer got right with God and those they wronged. I can't wait to read more of her work!

    5. This is a group of three romance stories set in the old west about three Scottish brothers coming to America and finding a new life/love. I enjoy reading this type of book every so often to keep my faith upbeat.

    6. I've read this book three times, and it's still a pleasant read whenever I need something light. Fun characters, simple story and Christian, too.

    7. A beautiful compilation of love stories featuring three Scottish brothers as they make a new home in the untamed deserts of Texas.
