    1. The goal of this children's book is to teach the seven habits of happy kids. The main theme states that you should like yourself for who you are, despite what anyone else may say. The story’s main character, Pokey tries to change his appearance to fit in and prevent being bullied. At the end of the story, Pokey learns to be comfortable in his own skin and the bully learns to respect and like him for it as well.

    2. I thought this book was poorly written and could have been so much better. I love the idea of the book and enjoyed the resources in the back, but the story wasn't anything I would use in the classroom.

    3. In this story, a little boy Pokey who tries to change who he is to fit in. He soon realizes that he does not need to and the bully is going to have to accept him for him.

    4. Best part of the book is the parents' corner at the back, that really ties the story to Habit 1 Be Proactive. Lots of stuff in habit 1 for kids. Love Pokey giving Biff "the hand"

    5. The actual habit to learn from the story is a bit too old for my toddler, but I am continuing with the series hoping that after a few times, it will stick. I really love the idea of this series!
