    1. A great quick read. The story is compelling and the characters are very real and sympathetic. I really loved the setting of the old house, and the progress of the renovations/fixing-up done by the protagonist, freelance writer Hannah, nicely parallels the arc of the story. Jimi the cat has his own bits of 'dialogue' that are spot on.This story left me feeling really good.


    2. I actually loved this book, it would be a great summer read- light but fun. It has some of my favorite elements, single woman with something to prove (to herself), a small town, a big snowstorm and a ghost!


    3. I loved this book. Hannah is so spunky, and her cat Jimi is so sassy. Even the ghost is loveable! I highly recommend this book for anyone who loves a feel-good story.


    4. My first reaction to reading Ghosted by Judith Docken? I wanted time machines to be real so I could go back to the 1940s and make this marvelous book into a spooky, endearing, classic noir film starring the likes of Barbara Stanwyck. Romantically idealistic as that would be, this story truly belongs to our age and time, though the heart of its story spans back to early in the last century. I got everything I expected and wanted when I bought this debut novel, and one thing I did not expect . . . [...]
