    1. Perfect readSo, I loved the players from the very beginning: Charlotte (Charlie, the heroine) Ty (the hero) Sebastian (Charlotte’s 6 year old son) Magnus (the bear of a Scotsman, somewhere around 70) Akeem (the turbaned Arab with the hairless cat, Serendipity) Ken Chang (the little china man) Ethel (Chang’s wife. His head barely reaches her breasts, she’s described as an ) Jasper (Charlotte’s uncle) Daisy (Jasper’s housekeeper.) What a cast of characters.By 25% I was loving every word [...]

    2. My Darling Gunslinger by Lynne BarronWhat a delightful book! I was hooked on page one and captivated throughout. Charlotte Grenville has been on the run for seven years when Tyler Morgan shows up wounded on her doorstep. The two of them had seen one another at a train station about a year previously and though their eyes met it was just a tip of the hat he gave her as she passed by him on the train platform. With assassins after Charlotte’ son she has had to move often. She has a motley crew o [...]

    3. What a fantastic book! My Darling Gunslinger by Lynne Barron is a smooth read. Ms Barron has created a well developed cast of characters that are perfect for this book. My Darling Gunslinger has plenty of suspense, action and sizzle to keep the pages turning. Kudos to Ms Barron for the humor she's worked into Charlotte and Tyler's story. I enjoyed My Darling Gunslinger from cover to cover and would be happy to read more from this talented author. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.I rec [...]

    4. I loved Charlotte she was a feisty little hellraiser, but yet she remained a lady, "without a word she knelt beside his hips and he saw that she held a small glass jar in her hands. “Ointment for your wound,” she explained with a lopsided smile. “May I?” It was all Ty could do not to chuckle. After all that had transpired in the last hours, only Charlotte would feel the need to ask his permission to touch him now." I enjoyed this book I loved Ty he was the perfect man for Charlotte.

    5. ARC REVIEW TO COME!I was able to be a beta reader for this but it wasn't finished at the time. So I have been sitting on pins and needles waiting to find out how it ended. I didn't catch it the first time but this time I caught it! I love it when I'm right! Full review to come

    6. Loves it!!When I first got into reading, historical romances, especially about the old west, was my go to. This book did not let me down. An English lady, in the run with her son and motley crew ends up seeking refuge on the last of her family willing to help. A bounty hunter, born in a brothel, saving his money, so he can buy a place of his own, ends up winning a ranch in a poker game. With the luck of fate and a old man, knowing he can't protect anyone, tosses them all together. Can they keep [...]

    7. Posted on Les Romantiques - Le forum du siteReviewed by RinouReview Copy from the PublisherGenerally I’m not really fan of western romance, I prefer for the heroes to move through a less violent world, but the mix between western and Victorian society proposed by My Darling Gunslinger intrigued me in spite of its unlikely side.Charlotte is the widow of an English count and the mother of the new count, and the brother of her deceased husband contests her son’s legitimacy. He has even tried se [...]

    8. 4.25/5. Quite an entertaining read by a little known new author, who really writes quite well. Her prose is lovely, the descriptions vivid, and the characters have great depth. In particular, the hero is rather an endearing contradictory mix of toughness and goo. Raised in a brothel with no formal education, he scraped together every dollar earned as a bounty hunter to save up for some land and little homestead of his own. His dream was realised sooner than he thought, when he 'won' the deed of [...]

    9. This was my first historical western romance and I am so happy that Lynne Barron was the one that introduced me to it. I am a fan of her other books, especially her Idyllwild Series, so I was pretty sure that I would enjoy this one. It did not disappoint!Ms. Barron truly knows how to describe the characters and surroundings in her books. I really felt as if I personally knew Ty and Charlotte, the main characters, their backgrounds, struggles, thoughts and dreams. The secondary characters were co [...]

    10. Such a fun book to read, and a one of a kind story. The characters in the book are all unique, a hodge podge, who all come together for a serious cause. Beautifully told, fun to read, and heartwarming. A gunslinger and a Lady? You know there's a fun and interesting story here! I loved it :)(Warning, there is a lot of foul language used, so if this offends you, don't read this book and give it a bad review because of foul language.)

    11. J'ai aimé les personnages, mais c'est dommage qu'il y ait un gros manque de communication entre eux. L'histoire est originale mais la fin un peu expédiée.avis complet /review/show

    12. Loved it!What a wonderful story and it has so much adventure and love in it. You will not want to put it down.

    13. What I Liked:Well-written- This is my second novel by this author. She is very talented and is amazing at writing historical novels. She definitely deserves to be more well-known.Plot- Now I won’t give anything away, but the plot and this story overall is very original. The plot pulled you in, making you unable to set the book down until the very end. The Hero- I loved his character. He wasn’t some rich person who had everything handed down to him via his family. Instead he had to work for h [...]

    14. I received an eARC, from NetGalley and the publisher, in exchange for an honest review.Charlotte Grenville, Countess of Westlockhart has been on the run with her young son and a few colorful servants. Finially landing in Montana. Charlotte thinks that she will be safe her in the Wilds. Tyler Morgan has been a gunslinger/bounty hunter and now just won a Ranch in a card game. So Tyler has plans now to more forward with his life and put down his Guns. When Tyler goes to his land he finds Charlotte, [...]

    15. My Darling GunslingerWell Written with wonderful characters. A beautiful love story from beginning to end. Tyler, a handsome gunslinger and Lady Charlotte are an interesting pair from two different lifestyles. Along with a host of interesting characters, you find yourself staying up a little later than planned, reading all the twists and turns in this book to a satisfying ending. My only complaint is the sexual content and coarse language, but that is me. If that doesn't bother you, don't pass u [...]

    16. A Fantastic BookI absolutely loved this book. It was a fun read and I loved the characters. The only reason I gave it four stars was because I felt the ending was rushed and lacked the depth of the rest of the book. But I would recommend this book to mature readers.

    17. Good read. I read the sample and bought the full version on . It took me awhile to come back to it but once I did I just flew through it because I needed to know what happened at the end.
