I received a copy of Ill-Considered Expeditions as a giveaway.The book is an anthology of sixteen tales that are very thirties/forties pulp in style - most of which might have been found in a third-rate Weird Tales knockoff.Of the sixteen tales, I quite enjoyed three - Incident at the Plateau of Tsang by Josh Reynolds, The Secret of Bunmare Moto by R. Allen Leider with CJ Henderson, and Hell Island by Matthew Barron.The rest could all be contenders in a Bulwer-Lytton competition. I couldn't get [...]
