    1. FairThe writing wasn't bad, but it isn't a stand alone novel. Characters weren't introduced, adventures from, I assume the previous novel were referenced without explanation. It was a decently fun read even with that, but it is NOT a convincing regency. The main character is forced to move back home following the death of her husband 14 months previous. Her parents treat her like a child, telling her where to go, what to do, how to dress and who she is allowed or not allowed to marry. As a 25 ye [...]

    2. This novel was lacking in something but I'm not sure I can tell you what exactly it was.In my opinion, the main female character was really naive and forgave quite easily. Plus, the way she pushed Gideon away again and again and then suddenly wanted to have him again (but just sexually) was a bit weird. The writing style wasn't mine as well. It was Regency-like, yes, but just so stilted. Noone talked like that back then. Plus, they always held like monologues and there was just no fluent conversa [...]

    3. Mind whirlingFrom start to finish this is a fast paced romance with threats, matchmaking, and allure. This book shows love at first sight.Love of family and what true love and family will go through to protect their own

    4. Very nice book.Well write ten even with the few errors. The stories all seem to the same. be the same. like reading them all. The love between the family was veryheart warming.Wish Clarence would marry Ann.

    5. Nice book, enjoyed reading it. I am looking forward to reading all of her other books in the series. Ms. Mathews did do her research and did not make any mistakes. I am a history buff and I do stop reading a book if I find any historical mistakes in any book.

    6. Lovely and unpredictableUnpredictable live story with lots of fun family ties coming together with one who had very little family but lots of friend as who stood beside him through g h thick n thin

    7. Okay story The story line was good. The writing was a a little off putting. Unnatural conversations, that went on forever and ever. Lacking spice.

    8. OkThis love story is ok. It was fun watching Ginny and Gideon getting to know one another. It was a typical love story.

    9. Well written. This was my second Marly Mathews book that I have read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My only problem with it was that I wanted more.
