    1. A mixed bagVine of the Earth is an alien invasion novel. This book's genre is not one I normally read and that may effect my review. I am glad I read it because I like to challenge myself as a reader. The ideas and concepts of the book are great. The various methods of the invasion and the technology of the aliens is very interesting and I really enjoyed reading about it. There was humor in the beginning between the two teenagers that I enjoyed. As the book went on this was understandably lost. [...]

Well wonder no more because Ian Woodhead has done all the hard work for you with his latest release Vine of the Earth. And this is the situation we find young Travis Fitzgerald in one Saturday after a rather heavy Friday night down at his local pub, with his best friend Mark Walsh, as the stor [...]

    3. I was lucky to receive a copy in exchange for a review. I am a lucky girl. :)Ian Woodhead writes such excellent zombie books so I knew this would be good. Nary a zombie in sight. Now I must say Stu is my favorite guy ever! Cool, smart and awesome! These aliens are not like any you have seen or read about. A movie version of the b [...]

    4. Top draw! It's like a mash up of some of my favourite stories. War of the worlds, invasion of the bodysnatchers and day of the triffids. Great pacing and great characters drive this book to a five star read for me. Bloody great stuff. Dig it people.
