    1. The differences are immediately obvious, but the Ant and Cleo series reminds me of Harry Potter, more than anything else. It covers a similar time span in the characters' lives, and similarly becomes increasingly serious in tone, as the war heats up and the characters experience greater challenges and traumas. The narrative style is somewhat less engaging, but I'm just as eager to keep reading, and I'm even more enamored of the various characters and their interactions.
