    1. 2.5 starsWhen her boyfriend and the father of her unborn child issues his ultimatum to either abort the baby or move out, Julie Miller hopes to find comfort and support from her mom when she returns to her small hometown in Wyoming. Instead, a surprise awaits her when she finds that her mom is traveling the country with friends and a stranger, Mark Thomas, is renting her mom’s house in her absence. Not long after she arrives, an unexpected snowstorm buries the town and Julie and Mark, a man ca [...]

    2. Actually found this to be a cute read and a good start to a series. Hope that in the other books they have snippets into the lives of past characters.

    3. For full review including excerpt and dialogue highlight, please visit Reader's Edyn at:bit/NKmop7Review:FINDING HOME is the first book I have read by Lacey Wolfe. I found myself intrigued by the blurb of this story because it focuses on finding joy outside of what should have been happiness. That probably doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. I guess what I mean is that Julie has just found out she is pregnant, albeit unexpectedly, but pregnant none the less. She should be celebrating with her b [...]

    4. My review:Finding Home by Lacey Wolfe is a romance novella which is well-written with lovable characters. It was Lacey Wolfe's first book for me to read and I truly enjoyed it. It was easy to read, the relationship and attraction between Julie and Mark was remarkable and last, but not least, there were interesting topics woven into the story.Regarding the plot:Julie's boyfriend and father to her unborn child gives Julie a choice - to get an abortion or leave and Julie decides to leave. When she [...]

    5. I was first going to ignore this story since I had read another story by this same author. And though that story was actually really good, some of the things in it really irritated me. I had hoped this one would not have the same problems. For the most part it is better. I did read these out of order so I was extra shocked at the discrepancies or somewhat differences I found in the personalities of the characters in the other book. The main one was Seth. I don’t know if it was just me or wheth [...]

    6. In Finding Home, by Lacey Wolfe, we find our heroine Julie in an emotional tailspin. She's just discovered that she's pregnant and once she informs her boyfriend of this he gives her an unbelievable ultimatum. Abort the baby or get the hell out of his house. He doesn't want to be a father. Needless to say this earns him the jerk-face-of-the-year award.Sweet, love-able Julie wants to keep her baby, so she packs up, and does what any self respecting girl who's in a world of hurt does. She goes hom [...]

    7. Finding Home is a lovely romance novella. I love that it can be read quickly yet it's a fully satisfying romantic read. I enjoyed getting to know Julie and Mark in the setting of Clearwater. The small town made a great backdrop for the story (I'm a sucker for small towns with nosy and good people).Even though this is short in length, I still felt like I got a good feel for both of the main characters. The background built slowly so I could get to know them and they could get to know each other ( [...]

    8. Finding Home was such a sweet romance of two people finding love when they both least expected it. Julie is put into a very tough situation when she finds out that she is pregnant & her boyfriend has no desire to be a father so he tells her to get rid of it or move out. Julie makes the best decision for her & her unborn baby by moving out and moving back home to be with her mom. Little did she know that her mom had rented out her house to a very handsome man named Mark, so that she could [...]

    9. Wow, another awesome book. I loved this book, and this series. This is the story of Julie, who is pregant and needing a place to go. She told her boyfriend about the pregancy and he flipped and told her to get out. The only place she can think to go is her mom's place. She takes off and has an unexpected suprise when her mother is not the one answering the door.Mark is the man staying at her mothers until her mom comes back from vacation and is also a local furniture maker. He has some demons in [...]

    10. I thought this story is amazing! I have read both versions of this story. This review is for the re-release. It hits close to home for me in many different ways. Oh and it is free on right now (8/13/12)! Go get it before it changes!! The characters: Julie is our heroine who discovers she is pregnant. Upon telling Jeremy, the father of the unborn child, promptly tells her to have an abortion or leave. Julie decides to visit her mother in Wyoming. Though when she arrives at her mother's house, sh [...]

    11. If you are looking for a quick, heart-warming read, pick up Finding Home. I enjoyed the storyline, and you can't help but put yourself in Julie's shoes when she flees New York and heads home to clear her head in Clearwater. The instant chemistry between Mark and Julie is as hot as the chili cooking on the stove. Not only is Julie trying to keep her hormones in check, but Mark has a secret he is hiding and he is conflicted about starting anything with Julie, especially with her begin pregnant wit [...]

    12. This series seems to have a trend of insta attraction but with the pace of the story, it actually didn't bother me much than I expected. It's nice to see more push-and-pull in this relationship than just the one-way towards happy ending which usually happens when the story runs fast. I was just hoping that revealing Mark's past was given more emphasis than making it feel like just being mentioned in passing. The characters were fine. Again, I didn't have a solid mental image of what they looked li [...]

    13. Julie Miller is a regular woman that was lucky enough to have a great family and support system in her home town in Brookfrield, Wyoming. She is home to reevaluate her life because New York city was a disappointment (romantically). But strangely enough I kind of understood the jerky D-bag boyfriend, Jeremy's point of view which was a single city lifestyle, but that doesn't excuse him when he doesn't take responsibility of his sperm's actions.Julie goes home to a big surprise her mother is in a R [...]

    14. Finding Home is a really sweet romance. For those of you who have read her erotica. this one is mild in comparison. But, the love story is still very satisfying. Julie has come home to seek counsel and comfort from her mother after finding herself homeless and pregnant. Instead, she discovers that her mother is traveling and has rented the house to Mark. The attraction is strong, but Mark has a heart breaking secret. Mark is such a sweet guy and I was so rooting for their HEA. This story also fe [...]

    15. What a truly endearing book. Julie moves in with her boyfriend & not two months after being there she finds out she is pregnant. She tells him & the prick says have an abortion or get out. So, being the smart girl she is she leaves & goes home to mom. But surprise mom's on a trip & sexy Mark is renting her house. So before you can figure out what to do you are in the middle of a blizzard with Mark. Boy do you get to stay warm in the best of ways but also get to find the kindest o [...]

    16. Finding Home is a sweet romance about two people who have their lost their way and find it again each other's arms. 17. When Julie finds out she is pregnant, her boyfriend is less than thrilled causing Julie to pack up and head home for some much needed help from her mom. When arriving at her mom's house in Wyoming she finds her mom is gone on a road trip and Mark is renting out the house while she is gone. In a freak snow storm Julie and Mark are snowed in together for days. They both have a hard past that has to be shared if anything else is to come of a relationship between them. This is a very sweet book of l [...]

    18. Got this for free at and its thefirst book I read on the kindle app. Its full of 'aww. moments and its overly sweet. I read romances like i would read fairy books, knowing that neither love nor fairies exist. So I cant really give this top marks at all for originality or anything. Its pretty pat and standard, no ruffles, waves, or unsmooth bits.

    19. 4.5 stars. Sweet read about unexpected love when your luck is down. Mark is a women's dream with a tragic past. Julie's life has just been turned upside down. She's pregnant and her BF doesn't want kids. So she goes home to see mom and finds Mark instead. Add snow and some love and you've got a very satisfying read.

    20. This is the best of the first three I've read. But still a little too rushed for me. Plus I'm not so sure that a man who resisted everyone's advances would rush into another's arms the minute she left eithert terrible but not great either.

    21. This was a really good book. Mark and Julie both had issues they were trying to work through. Mark was there when Julie needed him. This was well written and I am looking forward to reading more of the series.

    22. AwwLoved the story. I would have liked to find out the finality of the father. Julie and Mark make a cute couple. I live his sensitive side.

    23. Quick, light, heart warming read I finished it in just a few short hours. It definately left me smiling my only complaint? I wanted MORE of Mark and Julie!

    24. Very sweet heart wrenching romance, with the trademark sizzle of Lacey Wolfe thrown in too. I really enjoyed it and can't wait to start book 2.
